Creative Writing II
Blogs could be quite useful in my Creative Writing II class. Students are constantly writing new stories and poems and looking for feedback on their writing, and blogs would allow them to get a wider variety of feedback at a quicker pace. They could post a question they have about their story, maybe say where they are getting stuck with their stories, etc. They could then attach their stories as a Word document, have other students read their work, then post a comment that hopefully answers their question.

This sounds like a great idea, Mandi!
ReplyDeleteThis is a great idea, Mandi! Students could receive feedback from a variety of classmates versus just hearing revision suggestions from their peer writing group. Students would also be exposed to more of each other's writing!
ReplyDeleteWould it work to have them publish directly on the blog as opposed to a Word document?
